(1)Water Play: Sing this song when you get caught in the rain, play in the kitchen, or give your child a bath. Squeeze a wet washcloth over the water and sing along with the "drip".
(2)Play with the sounds of the words in "drip" and "drop". Slide up vocally on the "dr," pop the "p's" and exaggerate a mournful "Oh me, oh my." Experiment to find other watery sounds you can make(like what we do in the class) with your mouth, lips and voice. For contrast add thunder.
(3)small movement: Let the "dripping " movements touch your child rhythmically while you sing. Let the"Oh me, oh my."movements touch your child tonality.
(4)Draw or paint with your song book musically while you singing the song.
