Jack-in-the-box(P.16)
Note: Changing from soft to loud is a big part of "Jack-in-the-box."The beginning is marked"pp"which stands for pianissimo(very soft)in Italian. The most dramatic moment is marked"sfz," an abbreviation for sforzando, meaning a sudden strong accent on a single note, as for "Yes," above.
1)Song Book1: Point to the note, let your kids watch you point to the note and use your finger touch the beat on your kids' body.
2.Song Book2: Point to the picture in the book.
3.Lap Song: Hold your children in your lap, making a "house" for him by hugging him with both arms. Rock back and forth to the beat as you say the chant.
