Did you know? Young children need to see and hear the steady beat to feed their emerging rhythm development. Sometimes, though, the pattern of the words is so compelling that we want to do that instead of keeping the steady beat! In this chant, it just feels goodto "bang, bang, bang" out that pattern at the end of the phrase.

We suggest that you can try your best to change your voice as different charactor. Sing the king part with male voices, for example: daddy, grandfather, uncle. Sing the queen part with female voices, for example: mommy, grandmother, aunt. Sing the prince, princess, baby part with kids voices.
Let your children focus on "voices" dramatic play.

There are 2 steps. At first, you can focus on the melody, sing with original song twice and then foucus on the verb, sing with the verbs for the third and forth time.

You can change different movements with this song, especially some goofy or funny ideas.

1. Sing with the Songbook change different marching insects also make the voice cresendo and decresendo.
2. Let your children crab a doll or toy they love to sing with this song. If your child is an infant and you can let it sit on your lap, then we can use this song as a lap song.
